3 questions for the Buffalo Bills entering the game against the Bears
What is the rotation at defensive end going to look like?
This final question is once again dependant on whether the presumed starters, Mario Addison and Jerry Hughes, play. The two veterans didn’t see any time against the Detroit Lions but this could be the preseason game to get them some work.
In the game against the Detroit Lions, the Bills pass rush looked much better than it did a season ago with only A.J. Epenesa, Greg Rousseau, Carlos Basham Jr., Efe Obada, and Darryl Johnson playing a majority of the snaps. Rousseau and Johnson each had a sack with Epenesa adding a QB hit.
The Bills have great depth at this position and how they rotate the players, especially early, will be worth watching. It will also be important to note if there are any players that are moved inside to get them snaps. This season, the Bills could move players like Carlos Basham Jr. or Efe Obada inside to provide more of a pass rush from the interior of the defensive line.
