Josh Allen

Overall Rating: 88

Position Rank: 7th among quarterbacks

Among the ratings, the most anticipated was where Josh Allen would be ranked. He was coming off a season where he finished runner up in MVP votings, threw for over 4,500 passing yards and had 46 total touchdowns.

When the quarterback position was announced on Friday, it was certainly underwhelming as Allen was seventh-best and didn’t even get rated above 90. On a positive note, the Bills quarterback was given a throw power rating of 99, which was the highest in the game and the only player to receive that rating. The next closest player was Patrick Mahomes who was rated 97 in this category.

However, the team putting together the ratings appeared to overlook the improvements Allen has made in terms of accuracy. He finished this past season with a completion percentage near 70% but his short pass, medium pass, and deep ball accuracies were all in the mid to upper 80s.

When looking at the ratings at quarterback, Josh Allen should be closer, and probably ahead, of Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson and somewhere in the range of 91-93.
