Jake Kumerow

The one player who has been talked about the most this training camp could probably be wide receiver Jake Kumerow. He was in the headlines earlier in the week after comments made by Aaron Rodgers that he was one of the best wide receivers in their training camp last year before he was released.

That trend has continued this training camp and Kumerow once again is having a good training camp, this time with the Buffalo Bills. Sal Capaccio of WGR550 tweeted that it will be hard for the Buffalo Bills not to keep Kumerow on their 53-man roster.

It is easy to see why when you see catches like this one from Kumerow.

This is impressive considering the depth the Bills have at the wide receiver position. They knew entering training camp they were going to have to cut a good player and if Kumerow makes the roster, players like Isaiah Hodgins and Marquez Stevenson, who were draft picks by the Bills the past two seasons, could be without a spot on the active roster.

The training camp battle at wide receiver is going to be one that should be watched closely and could change dramatically over the next few weeks. However, Jake Kumerow has put himself in a great position with his play in the early part of camp.
