Quarterback

Buffalo Bills: 1

Miami Dolphins: 2

New England Patriots: 3

New York Jets: 4

There’s no questioning that Buffalo has a clear edge at QB compared to the other three teams in this division. Josh Allen vaulted himself into a tier of his own with his 4,544 passing yards and 37 touchdowns last season, putting forth an MVP caliber season.

Tua Tagovailoa was largely unimpressive as a rookie, but I think having a normal offseason without having to rehab from hip surgery will do him some good. The Dolphins also vastly improved the skill position talent around him, something that will certainly help his performance.

New England ranks number three, and that’s under the assumption that Mac Jones starts the majority of the team’s games. Cam Newton proved that there’s not much left in the tank last year when he threw for eight passing touchdowns in 15 games, and I actually think Jones has proven much more to this point than Zach Wilson of the Jets despite going 13 picks later in the NFL Draft.
