Josh Allen is the leader of the Buffalo Bills and has one of the best-selling jerseys in the league.

The NFLPA keeps track of officially licensed NFL merchandise and the top 10 best-selling jerseys list provides an interesting look into the NFL’s sales trends. On the top 50 NFL player sales list, Bills quarterback Josh Allen lands at number 10. Allen finished 13th in the league after the 2020 season was over.

The players who are ahead of him are in order of from 1-9: Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes II, Dak Prescott, Joe Burrow, CeeDee Lamb, Justin Fields, Ezekiel Elliot, Trevor Lawrence, and Rob Gronkowski.

Allen is the only other Bills player to be on the list until wide receiver Stefon Diggs comes in at 47. Going into the season, that’s not a bad start. The number of Bills players on that list should only grow with continued success from last season.

Josh Allen jersey sales provide a look into how far he has progressed

Even though Allen somehow isn’t ranked higher than Lamar Jackson in this year’s latest Madden, at least he has Jackson and Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers beat here.  For someone who was supposed to be a “raw” prospect coming out of college, Allen has the Bills on the cusp of a Super Bowl appearance.

Since entering the league, Allen doubled his passing yards from his rookie season and nearly did the same for his passing touchdowns. Allen is also 20th in career rushing yards(1,562) for a Bills player, which is impressive for a quarterback.

If the running game does improve, then Allen may not get much further on that rushing leaders list, and that’s fine. Keeping the passing game going over the course of his career is what all Bills fans would prefer.

A Super Bowl win would hopefully put Allen into the top 5- time will tell.
