If Mike Williams isn’t the worst draft pick the Bills have ever made then Aaron Maybin certainly is. The Bills drafted the undersized edge rusher 11th overall in the 2009 NFL draft. This was a risky pick at the time because Maybin was undersized for his position and had only one season of good college production but nonetheless was the pick that GM Russ Brandon decided to make at 11.

The pick could not have panned out any worse as Maybin was only given one start in two seasons in Buffalo, failing to register a single sack. He was cut by the Bills after the 2010 season.

In a cruel twist of fate Maybin would have maybe the only good game of his career a year later as a member of the New York Jets. In Week 11 Maybin would have the ultimate revenge game. After recording 0 sacks in 2 seasons as a member of the Bills, he matched up against the Bills and sacked Ryan Fitzpatrick twice in a single afternoon to help the Jets to a 28-24 victory that knocked the Bills below .500.
