TE Jacob Hollister

One of the biggest grey areas on the Buffalo Bills is the tight end position. With no real established starter there, it remains to be seen which player will step up and take the starting spot. I don’t expect Jacob Hollister to do it, and neither should you.

Hollister has been very inconsistent from game to game. Sometimes he’ll have 8 yards, the next week he won’t do anything, and the third week he’d ball out randomly. Of course, that was in Seattle’s run-first offense for most of his time in the pacific northwest.  Take a look at his career game logs and you’ll see the inconsistency.

Buffalo has the opposite of Seattle’s (former) offense. There’s also the fact that Hollister was teammates with Josh Allen at Wyoming that may make this work. From my time watching him in the NFC West, I just don’t see him developing into a reliable weapon.

Unless Dawson Knox falls from the sky and doesn’t produce, I’d think it’s safe to say Hollister’s Bills career will be one-and-done.
