4 Buffalo Bills who could earn their first Pro Bowl nod in 2021
Tyler Bass
The last player may have the toughest path to reaching his first Pro Bowl. This is not because Tyler Bass isn’t talented enough but the AFC currently has some excellent placekickers starting with arguably one of the greatest to ever play in the NFL, Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker.
Tucker has made over 90% of his career field goal attempts and 98% of his career extra point attempts.
However, Tucker isn’t the only one that Bass would have to worry about as Kansas City Chiefs Harrison Butker and Pittsburgh Steelers’ Chris Boswell are excellent placekickers as well. It becomes even more of a challenge considering only one kicker from each conference makes the Pro Bowl.
Even with all that said, Bass will certainly have a good chance with the way the Buffalo Bills offense has played. Last year, Bass finished in the Top 10 in field goals made, field goals attempted, extra points made, and extra points attempted. He also finished fourth in the league in points with 141, only three behind the league lead.
This season Tyler Bass should have just as many opportunities with the Buffalo Bills offense to remain one of the best in the league. This sets up Bass in his second season with a great chance of making his first Pro Bowl.
