The most likely replacement for Cole Beasley: Gabriel Davis

Gabriel Davis came out of nowhere to have as good of a season that a fourth-round rookie can have. Notching almost 600 yards and seven touchdowns, Davis already seems primed to be the guy if Cole Beasley retires.

With all of the fanfare for Davis, there does need to be some caution before he gets the job. Davis was targeted 62 times and only caught 35 of them for a catch rate of 54%. While only three of these passes were dropped by Davis himself, there still has to be more consistency in getting him the ball. There’s also the fact that Allen threw four interceptions when targeting Davis last year. If there was an advanced stat that showed overthrows (or similar throws) and wasn’t behind a paywall I’d insert it here.

Next. Buffalo could get new stadium as rumors start to circulate. dark

If Beasley does retire, then there will be one heck of an interesting camp battle in August this year to watch.
