Number 3 – Dane Jackson

The Buffalo Bills have been searching for that long-term answer at cornerback opposite Tre’Davious White and that player could be Dane Jackson. The Bills drafted Jackson in the seventh round last year and he spent most of the year on the practice squad.

However, he did appear in five games and even started two for the team as a rookie. In those few spots, Jackson played very well with 15 total tackles, one interception, three passes defended, and one fumble recovery.

He will now be entering training camp in a position battle with Levi Wallace for the starting job. If he were to win that job, he will be joining one of the better secondaries in the league with Tre’Davious White, Jordan Poyer, and Micah Hyde. This means opposing teams are likely going to target him early and if he is able to step up, this defense will return to being one of the best in the league.
