Buffalo Bills: Updated 53-man roster projections after minicamp

Dawson Knox, Jacob Hollister, Tommy Sweeney, Reggie Gilliam

If the Buffalo Bills keep three quarterbacks, the tight end position is one they could potentially reduce the number they keep on the 53-man roster. If that does happen, then Reggie Gilliam, who was a surprise last year, would be the player who likely doesn’t make the final roster.

This is also a position that could drastically change if the Buffalo Bills make a trade for Zach Ertz which is something that has been rumored almost all offseason.

As it stands now, the Bills would go into the season with Dawson Knox and Jacob Hollister likely competing for the starting job with Tommy Sweeney being the third tight end behind those two.
