Coach of the Year

Unfortunately for Sean McDermott last season was likely the best chance he will have at the Coach of the Year award for awhile. The award is usually given to coaches who lead their teams to drastic turn arounds and he has already finished turning the Bills around.

The Bills went 13-3 a year ago so outside of leading the team to a historic 16-1 or 17-0 season it is hard to imagine McDermott winning the award.

However, the Bills have a very good chance of repeating with the Assistant Coach of the Year. Despite getting multiple head coaching interviews the reigning Assistant of the Year Brian Daboll decided to stick with his role as Bills offensive coordinator. Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier also received a vote a year ago. The Bills have one of the best coaching staffs in the league and it would not be shocking to see one of their assistants honored yet again.
