Buffalo Bills fantasy outlook: Zack Moss

Last year’s finish

Zack Moss played second-fiddle to Singletary for most of the year playing just 37% of possible snaps but arguably had a better impact. He finished 43rd in his position group according to fantasyfootballers.com. Moss had four rushing touchdowns and 1 through the air, three more total scores than Singletary.

My personal stats projection for this year:

If Moss can continue his momentum headed into 2021, Buffalo Bills will be rewarded with a receiving threat out of the backfield. A more established threat will only help everyone else on the field. I would project that Moss can:

  • Earn 600 yards rushing, 4 TD
  • Nab 25 receptions for 350 yards, 2TD

The passing game is crucial if Moss wants to take that #1 spot away from his cohort Singletary. It’s also worth watching if Brandon Beane will bring in another runner sometime before camp officially starts.

2020 Average draft position

In terms of RB’s off the board, Moss came in at RB41, ~109th overall. Keeping an eye on him is a good thing to do, and if you have him ranked on your board, you should feel comfortable picking him late in the draft.

Final verdict: Own as an RB3/Flex

Moss is the one running back that would be the most beneficial to keep in my eyes from this Buffalo Bills team. However, if there is any doubt, then it’s always best to try someone else. I wonder if the 17 game schedule will make teams run the ball more towards the end of the regular season. The Buffalo Bills fantasy outlook would be trending upward for their RB’s if that indeed happens.
