Buffalo Bills 2021 NFL Draft: 5 players to target in the first round
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah
The Buffalo Bills have always valued versatility when looking at players to add to the roster. In this year’s class, there isn’t a more versatile defender than Notre Dame’s Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.
He is considered a linebacker and if the Bills kept him there, he certainly could be successful in this defense. The coaching staff has typically targeted the smaller, quicker linebackers for their defense and Owusu-Koramoah could fill that role.
The reason that Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah should be a target for the Buffalo Bills is that he can play the big nickel role for this defense. They have typically operated in a nickel defense but with the Notre Dame linebacker, the Bills, in theory, could play a 4-3 base defense or nickel with the same 11 players on the field.
Owusu-Koramoah in particular would be a great player to have him line up against tight ends but he also could cover some slot receivers.
