Buffalo Bills 2021 NFL Draft: Ranking the four best fits at tight end
The tight end position is one that the Buffalo Bills may want to upgrade but don’t necessarily have to. They do still have Dawson Knox and entering his third year could take that next step forward after showing some improvement last season. They also added free agent Jacob Hollister, who can be that second tight end, but also step in as the top player at the position if Knox struggles.
The Bills this past season didn’t regularly highlight or utilize the tight end position so this is one that may not be high on their priority. However, depending on how the 2021 NFL Draft unfolds, there is a reasonable chance they could select a tight end as another player to compete.
The tight end position is unique in that it not only can help in the passing game but can be a positive in terms of run blocking. The Bills traded away their best blocking tight end in Lee Smith so they would likely be targeting a player that can do both. When taking a look at the position, and combining it with what they would likely need to pay in terms of draft capital, these are the four best fits at tight end for the Buffalo Bills.
