Buffalo Bills Special Teams

Long Snapper: Reid Ferguson

Kicker: Tyler Bass

Punter: Matt Haack

The Buffalo Bills appear set to have some significant changes on special teams this coming season with Matt Haack signing a three-year deal to become the team’s punter. This means that Corey Bojorquez, who had an excellent season last year, is likely to be playing for a new team next year.

The other significant change is returner with Andre Roberts agreeing to a deal with the Houston Texans. This is a position that is very much in the air due to their not being a clear replacement on the roster.

Roberts has primarily handled both kickoff and punt return duties over the past two seasons and the one player who would have likely replaced him, Isaiah McKenzie, is also a free agent. The Bills do have Micah Hyde, who has some experience on punt returns, but there isn’t anyone currently with much experience on kickoffs.

This is a position that potentially could be addressed in the NFL Draft but the Buffalo Bills may want to have a veteran handle these responsibilities.
