Carl Lawson

Carl Lawson is another pass rusher who was taken in the 2017 NFL Draft, however, he went one round later than Trey Hendrickson when the Cincinnati Bengals took him in the fourth round.

Lawson had a breakout season as a rookie when he had 8.5 sacks but then suffered a torn ACL midway through the following season. This was actually his second torn ACL, which is something the Buffalo Bills should take into account when considering adding the defensive end.

If they are confident that this isn’t an issue, the Buffalo Bills would be getting one of the more complete defensive ends in free agency. While Matt Bowen names the Indianapolis Colts, he would also be a great fit with the Bills for many of the same reasons he lists.
