Buffalo Bills: 3 wide receivers to target in free agency

John Ross

A player who makes more sense is someone like former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver John Ross. He was a first round pick by the Bengals in 2017 but never found a steady role in the offense even though he has tremendous speed.

In 2017, he had 21 receptions for 210 yards and seven touchdowns. Then in 2018 he had an incredible start with 270 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the first two weeks of the season. However, he suffered a shoulder injury at the beginning of October that forced him to miss eight games in the middle of the season. He returned in Week 14 but didn’t have the same success and finished with 28 receptions for 521 yards and three touchdowns.

This past season, Ross saw his snaps dropped significantly and he played only 8% of the offensive snaps.

If the Buffalo Bills move on from John Brown or want more speed, a player like John Ross would be a great low-cost option with great upside.
