Reid Ferguson
This is probably the easiest decision to make on whether this player deserves a contract extension and if they can get it done. The long-snapper position is often overlooked but Reid Ferguson is one of the best in the game.
Ferguson became the team’s starting long snapper in 2017 and as Sal Capaccio tweeted, he has yet to have a bad snap in four years in the role.
Writing about Bills specialists and, unless my memory is failing me, I don’t believe Reid Ferguson has has an errand snap in his four years as the team’s long snapper. I did the math. Counting all punts + FG + XP attempts (no fakes), that’s 549 total snaps. Impressive.

Ferguson signed a three-year contract extension in 2019 and is now entering the final year of that deal. The Buffalo Bills shouldn’t wait long to get this deal done.
