Buffalo Bills must re-sign
Jon Feliciano, Daryl Williams
In my opinion of the 15 unrestricted free agents, the two players that should be at the top of the Buffalo Bills list is guard Jon Feliciano and tackle Daryl Williams, with Feliciano being slightly more of a priority.
The Bills signed Feliciano prior to the 2019 season as part of the nearly complete overhaul of the offensive line. He earned the starting right guard spot and didn’t look back. This past season he missed the start of the season due to a torn pec and the performance of the offensive line suffered.
The reason that Feliciano gets a slight edge is his versatility as he can play either guard position but also center as he showed this past season when Mitch Morse missed time.
As for Daryl Williams, he is coming off a bounce back season with the Buffalo Bills. The former second-team All-Pro had seen his play decline the past two seasons with a knee injury in 2018 and then bouncing around the offensive line in 2019 with the Carolina Panthers.
Both players are 28 years of age so if the front office was able to work out a longer term deal, like 3-4 years, the Buffalo Bills could really solidify their offensive line with Cody Ford and Ike Boettger competing for the other guard spot. This would leave the center position as the one question mark but it wouldn’t be as much of a concern with Feliciano having experience there.
It is going to be tough to sign all players with the cap space the Buffalo Bills have but if they can re-sign these two players, they will be in a much better spot heading into free agency and the NFL Draft.
