Every offseason, NFL teams are faced with tough decisions when evaluating their roster from last season. These decisions could include having to cut players to create additional cap space or whether or not trying to re-sign players who are free agents. The Buffalo Bills this year are no different and are faced with limited cap space and a number of key players entering free agency.

This means the Bills could let players who have been with the team for a few years leave in free agency or be cut. This is a list of five players who likely have already played their final snap with the Buffalo Bills.

Trent Murphy

The Buffalo Bills signed Trent Murphy as a free agent back in 2018 to a three-year deal. At the time he was coming off a knee injury that forced him to miss the entire 2017 season. However, he had shown to be an effective pass rusher with nine sacks in 2016.

Unfortunately, Murphy never developed into that steady pass rusher with the Bills and in three seasons registered only 11 sacks. The veteran also started to see his playing time significantly cut back in the second half of this season as the coaching staff gave more playing time to second-round pick A.J. Epenesa.

The fact that Murphy was active for only two games since Week 11, one time in Week 17 when the Bills were resting starters and then again against the Ravens with Daryl Johnson hurt, is likely a good indication that his time in Buffalo has come to an end.
