Secondary

The Bills’ secondary was expected to be a strength of this defense this year but was very inconsistent for most of the season. On Sunday, the Bills didn’t have an answer for this Chiefs passing attack while Patrick Mahomes, Kelce and Tyreek Hill seemed to do whatever they wanted moving the ball up and down the field.

Mahomes finished the game with 325 passing yards and three touchdowns while Hill was the Chiefs leading receiver with nine receptions for 172 yards.

One player who seemed to struggle was Tre’Davious White who had a couple of costly penalties, like a holding penalty on Travis Kelce in the end zone but also couldn’t keep up with Tyreek Hill in coverage. The Bills have some good players on the secondary but for this group to return to being one of the best, they need big performances from their star cornerback.
