Darius Leonard

While the Buffalo Bills have an excellent middle linebacker in Tremaine Edmunds, the Indianapolis Colts have an excellent middle linebacker as well in Darius Leonard. Both players were actually drafted the same year, with Edmunds being in the first round and Leonard going in the second of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Leonard has had a little more success than Edmunds and was named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl this season. He finished the year with 132 total tackles, three sacks, and three forced fumbles.

Darius Leonard is one of the more complete linebackers in the NFL and there isn’t much he can’t do in a game. The focus the Buffalo Bills are going to have to have going into this game is to make sure Leonard isn’t in a position to make a game-changing play, like an interception or fumble.

The Indianapolis Colts are a talented team and these are some of their biggest stars. If the Buffalo Bills can limit what these four players are able to do, they should give themselves a much better chance at a win.
