Buffalo Bills: 3 Bold player predictions against the Indianapolis Colts
By Jason Mattis
John Brown
The seven-year veteran showed this past Sunday just how much he was missed. Like Diggs, he has a unique ability to gain separation at the line of scrimmage. With more breakaway speed than Diggs that also leads to defenders playing back allowing for plenty of underneath catches.
In nine games, Brown eclipsed 70 plus yards in five of them. His 13.9 yards per catch is second on the team among qualifying players.
Brown will resume his normal number two wide receiver role this weekend in full. With the health of Cole Beasley unknown currently the third-round draft pick is poised to have another big complementary role alongside Diggs.
Saturday will be the first time this season he goes over 100 yards. In doing so he will have one catch of at least fifty yards, that too would be a season-high. To go along with a season-high in yards he will chip in with one touchdown as well.
Brown was missed for seven games this season, but thankfully for the Buffalo Bills, he is healthy and ready to contribute at the perfect time.
The Bills will be well aware of the advantages their offense should have against a secondary playing towards the bottom of the league currently. With the running backs taking a back seat, Josh Allen is ready to lead the way through the air.
