The Buffalo Bills have only one player ruled out for Week 16 against the New England Patriots.

The Buffalo Bills started the week with an injury report longer than most recent weeks but the good news is that most players are going to be available against the New England Patriots.

The team announced on Saturday that only tight end Reggie Gilliam is ruled out on the injury report for Week 16.

While Gilliam hasn’t been a regular contributor on offense, he has been a key part of their special teams unit. It will be interesting which player replaces the undrafted free agent on the active roster. In recent weeks, Tyler Kroft has been a healthy scratch and could be active as the third tight end but primarily play on special teams.

One of the biggest questions this week was at right tackle as Daryl Williams started the week limited while his backup Ty Nsekhe missed practice early in the week. The good news is that Daryl Williams did practice in full on Saturday and had no injury designation so he should be all set to start.

There is also a good chance that Nsekhe will be active as he was listed as questionable after being a limited participant on Saturday.

The only remaining question for the Bills between now and kickoff is whether or not John Brown will be activated. It seems all signs are pointing to yes after the team released wide receiver Jake Kumerow earlier in the week.

This was likely to create the roster spot for Brown to be activated however Sean McDermott didn’t commit to anything on Saturday. According to Chris Brown, the Bills head coach said he wanted to see how Brown did in practice today.

This could be just a bit of gamesmanship by McDermott as it wouldn’t make much sense for the Bills to release Kumerow, especially with Gilliam’s injury, if Brown isn’t expected to be available against the New England Patriots.
