Dion Dawkins/Daryl Williams
If the Buffalo Bills hope this offense can continue to produce the way it has recently, then Josh Allen is going to need time in the pocket. It will be up to the team’s starting offensive tackles Dion Dawkins and Daryl Williams to keep pass rushers away from their quarterback.
When looking at the teams currently in the playoff race, the Bills potentially could see pass rushers like T.J. Watt, Myles Garrett, Yannick Ngakoue, and Frank Clark. These are all defensive ends that have the talent to take games over almost singlehandedly and wreck offensive gameplans.
The good news is that the Bills offensive tackles have already seen some of these players this year with good results. In Week 14 against the Steelers, Williams didn’t allow T.J. Watt to register a sack. In Week 6, Frank Clark wasn’t able to do much against Dawkins and had only one solo tackle.
