Special Teams

The biggest surprise from the special teams unit was Andre Roberts, who mishandled a punt early in the game, which was recovered by the Broncos. At this point, the Bills were up 14-0 but the Broncos were able to take back some momentum with that fumble recovery and cut the lead in half with a touchdown.

However, the kicking specialists were perfect as Tyler Bass went two for two on field goal attempts as well as hitting on all six extra point attempts. Corey Bojorquez was only asked to punt once and pinned the Broncos deep in their end of the field with a 63-yard punt.

Buffalo Bills Week 15 Final Grade

The Buffalo Bills understood what this game meant to the season, franchise and the region. It has been 25 years since the Bills have won the AFC East and this team seized the opportunity to give everyone a reason to celebrate.

After games against the 49ers and Steelers, and with the Patriots on the schedule next week, there was certainly a chance for this to be a trap game or for the team to overlook Denver. However, aside from the Andre Roberts fumble, this team played nearly perfect football from the opening kick of the first quarter to the final whistle in the fourth.
