Game Winning Drives

On Buffalo’s final possession against the Arizona Cardinals, Allen led a critical scoring drive that gave his team the lead. Over the course of that series, Allen went 8/10 passing, accounting for 72 yards, and a touchdown. If not for a miraculous play in Glendale, the Bills would be on a seven-game win streak and right behind the Chiefs as the two seed in the AFC.

While the Bills ended up not winning that game, they wouldn’t have even been in the position they were in without Josh Allen. The ability to put your team in scoring position to seal a victory, or snatch one from defeat, are crucial attributes a quarterback can posses. And Allen has shown the propensity, this season, to play well when it counts most.

He ranks first ahead of both Mahomes and Rodgers with two fourth quarter comebacks and three game-winning drives. That’s being valuable to your team and should not go unnoticed.

It’s almost a certainty that Mahomes and Rodgers will get their teams in scoring position when they need it most. But so does Allen and he’s proven his aptness in this area thus far.
