This is where the Buffalo Bills’ Week 15 opponent, the Denver Broncos, rank in the NFL in key stats.

The Buffalo Bills are currently on a three-game winning streak and have won six of their last seven games. They take that winning streak west to face the Denver Broncos in Week 15 on Saturday afternoon. This is a closer look at some stats for the Bills’ opponent this weekend.

Offense

Total Yards: 328.6 yards per game (25th)

Passing Yards: 211.5 yards per game (27th)

Rushing Yards: 117.2 yards per game (13th)

Points: 19.8 points per game (29th)

Over the past few weeks, the Buffalo Bills have faced some of the top offenses in the NFL like the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals. The Denver Broncos are not going to be mistaken for either of those teams but do have some playmakers on this side of the ball.

It starts with their quarterback, Drew Lock, who in his second season was expected to take a step forward. He hasn’t been able to do that and the Broncos rank in the bottom five in passing, even though they have some good pass catchers like Jerry Jeudy, Noah Fant, and K.J. Hamler.

The run game though is in the top half of the league with Melvin Gordon and Philip Lindsay leading the way. The struggles of Lock have forced this team to lean more on the run and the Bills should expect to see plenty of these two running backs on Saturday.

Defense

Total Yards Allowed: 351.7 yards per game (16th)

Passing Yards Allowed: 220.7 yards per game (10th)

Rushing Yards Allowed: 131.0 yards per game (27th)

Points Allowed: 26.7 points per game (23rd)

On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos have struggled to stop many offenses, especially on the ground. They are allowing the fifth most rushing yards with an average of 131 yards per game.

While they have done a better job stopping the pass, the Buffalo Bills could find success here as they will be without a number of key players due to injuries and suspensions. Their top corner, A.J. Bouye was suspended for performance-enhancing drugs and have lost three other cornerbacks in the past two weeks to season-ending injuries (Essang Bassey, Duke Dawson Jr., Kevin Toliver II).

While the Broncos do still have two excellent safeties in Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson, this is a matchup the Buffalo Bills should have an advantage.
