Find out which Buffalo Bills players you should start and sit in fantasy football this week against the Steelers.

For some, this is the final week of the regular season in fantasy football while others are entering the first week of the playoffs. Regardless of which situation your team is in there is no denying that this is a pivotal week.

With that in mind, if your team has Buffalo Bills players it is not an ideal week with them facing the Pittsburgh Steelers but there are some players you can get into your lineup.

Start’em

Josh Allen

When looking at the stats, this doesn’t look to be a good matchup for Josh Allen. However, after his performance against the 49ers, who have one of the better defenses in the NFL, there is no way to bench him.

The good news for Allen and his chances to put a good score this week is that the Steelers are dealing with a number of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. They have already lost Bud Dupree for the season and also could be without both of their inside linebackers, Robert Spillane and Vince Williams.

This should help Allen pick up yards on the ground and even potentially find the end zone with a rushing touchdown.

Stefon Diggs

Over the last four weeks, the Steelers are allowing the third fewest points per game to wide receivers. However, another player they could be without this week is Joe Haden, who is currently in concussion protocol.

The absence of their top cornerback could set Diggs up for a big week as he will likely see Mike Hilton, who this past week against Washington was targeted frequently and gave up eight receptions on 10 targets.

Dawson Knox

If you need help at tight end, it is worth the gamble to put Dawson Knox into your starting lineup. The second-year tight end has now caught a touchdown in each of the past two games and with Tyler Kroft a healthy scratch both weeks, it appears the coaching staff is committed to getting Knox involved more.

Similar to wide receiver, the Steelers have done a good job against tight ends allowing the eighth fewest points to the position. However, in the game against Washington, Logan Thomas caught nine passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.

While it is unlikely that Knox would see that kind of volume, it wouldn’t be surprising to see four or five receptions for 40 yards and a score.

Sit’em

Devin Singletary/Zack Moss

The Steelers have done a good job against the run this year but the injuries at linebacker could create a good opportunity for the run game to be effective. The reason Devin Singletary and Zack Moss are sits for me this week is that there really isn’t any clarity on who will be the featured back.

This past week, Singletary saw a majority of the carries but it sounds like it was due to Zack Moss fumbling a handoff early in the game. The weeks prior, the workload was split evenly with the rookie getting slightly more than Singletary.

It remains to be seen who gets the work and in a week against a good defense, it would be hard to start either running back in fantasy football this week with confidence.
