These are the Buffalo Bills to start and sit in Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers.
While there are a few more weeks in the regular season, playoffs in fantasy football are right around the corner. This is the time where people are trying to get into the playoff or set themselves up with good seeding. This week the Buffalo Bills are facing a tough defense in the 49ers but there are still some players that people should have in their starting lineup.

Buffalo Bills Start ’em
Unlike last week which seemed like a great spot for Josh Allen, this one will be a bit tougher as the 49ers defense does a good job, both against the pass and the run. For the season, they have given up the 10th fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and over the past four weeks, they are even tougher, currently giving up the seventh-fewest fantasy points.
At this point, Josh Allen shouldn’t be benched but expectations should be shifted from being a middle QB1 to a backend QB1.
Similar to Josh Allen, this is a tough matchup for Stefon Diggs. However, he can’t be benched but rather expectations just need to be shifted. He is coming off a down game against the Chargers but still had seven receptions, which is a great floor in PPR leagues.
The coaching staff is sure to get creative in this game and will likely move Stefon Diggs away from Richard Sherman, who doesn’t travel with the team’s number one wide receiver. If he lines up more across from Jason Verrett, he likely finishes around 6-7 receptions, 70 yards, and a good chance at a touchdown.
The Buffalo Bills run game is likely going to struggle in this game however if there was a running back to start it is Zack Moss. The 49ers over the past four weeks are giving up the 12th fewest rushing yards to running backs (275 yards total) but have given up three rushing touchdowns during that stretch.
That is why if there is a Bills running back someone wants to start it should be Zack Moss as he is the primary back around the goal line. This could also be a good chance for Josh Allen to find the end zone on the ground.
Buffalo Bills Sit ’em
While Dawson Knox did find the end zone this past week against the Chargers, this is not a good matchup for any Bills’ tight end. The 49ers have given up the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends over the past four weeks. This should be a quiet week for Dawson Knox.
Another player who caught a touchdown last week was rookie Gabriel Davis. He had a good game replacing John Brown with three receptions, 79 yards, and that touchdown. However, this week he will likely see plenty of Richard Sherman as the Bills put the rookie across from him to free up Stefon Diggs on the other side of the field.
While Davis could be considered a sleeper, this is not shaping up to be a good week to put him in starting lineups.
