For the second straight week, the Buffalo Bills are taking on a team with a record below .500. However, similar to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Bills can’t take the 49ers lightly. This is a team that is coming off a trip to the Super Bowl and one that has been hit hard by injuries this season.

While the 49ers won’t have everyone back, they are getting healthier and this is a team that is more talented than their 5-6 record would show. These are five players that the Bills should be the most concerned about.

Kerry Hyder

While the 49ers have lost a number of starters, one player who hasn’t missed time and played at a very high level is Kerry Hyder. The 49ers defensive lineman started the year as a backup because of how talented this position group is but as they lost starters, it opened up playing time for Hyder.

He stepped in as the starter in Week 3 and is having a career year. He already has 7.5 sacks, 17 QB hits, and eight tackles for a loss through 11 games with 3 sacks, five QB hits and 3 tackles for a loss in the past two games.

While players like Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw may get the headlines, it is actually Kerry Hyder that the Bills coaching staff should be concerned the most about at this position.
