These are some of the key stats for the San Francisco 49ers heading into Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills are heading to primetime as they face the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 13. The 49ers are coming off a season where they won the NFC Championship before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

This season has been tougher as they have dealt with numerous injuries on both sides of the ball. They are currently 5-6 but are coming off a win over the Los Angeles Rams and are back in the playoff discussion for the NFC.

This is a quick look at the numbers for the San Francisco 49ers heading into Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills.

Offense

Total Yards: 363.2 yards per game (14th)

Passing Yards: 250.9 yards per game (12th)

Rushing Yards: 112.3 yards per game (16th)

Points: 23.7 points per game (20th)

The offensive side of the ball has dealt with a number of injuries and have been without their starting QB (Jimmy Garoppolo), starting RB (Raheem Mostert), starting WRs (Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk) and starting tight end (George Kittle).

The offense has struggled to put up points because of this and has only four touchdowns in their past three games. While Garoppolo won’t be back for this game, they will have Mostert, who returned last week, along with their two starting wide receivers (Samuel and Aiyuk).

They also have one of the best offensive minds in the NFL today in Kyle Shanahan and this side of the ball shouldn’t be taken lightly, even considering their recent struggles.

Defense

Total Yards Allowed: 315.2 yards per game (6th)

Passing Yards Allowed: 206.5 yards per game (4th)

Rushing Yards Allowed: 108.7 yards per game (10th)

Points Allowed: 23.1 points per game (11th)

This is where the strength of this team lies as the 49ers’ defense is very stringent. They have playmakers at every level of this defense with Javon Kinlaw and Kerry Hyder on the defensive line, Dre Greenlaw and Fred Warner at linebacker, and Richard Sherman at cornerback.

It is hard to pinpoint a weakness for the Buffalo Bills to exploit as they are well rounded in defending the pass as well as the run. This could be a battle of strength versus strength as the 49ers defense goes up against the Buffalo Bills offense. The team that wins here likely is the team that wins this matchup.
