Find out the final score prediction for the Buffalo Bills in Week 12 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Coming out of the bye, Buffalo Bills fans were expecting to get most of the team healthy and this is generally the case heading into Week 12. However, heading into their game with the Chargers, the team got some unfortunate news with Cody Ford being ruled out for the remainder of the season. Other than Ford, the only other player that has been ruled out for Week 12 is receiver John Brown who has been battling through a lower leg injury for a good chunk of the season.

The Bills offense has certainly felt the absence of Brown in the games that he has had to miss so far, but rookie receiver Gabriel Davis has done a good job replacing him when asked to do so. A significant portion of the Bills offensive success this week will rely on the performance of Davis and Cole Beasley in replacing Brown.

In regards to the offensive line, Mitch Morse will be back for this game allowing the Bills to have flexibility over who starts at one of the two guard positions for Week 12 and moving forward. The reason is Jon Feliciano, who has filled in at center can now slide to guard. In the games that Ford has missed already this season, the Bills have used Ike Boettger and Brian Winters as guard replacements.

As for the Chargers, their injury report coming into Week 12 is a bit more impactful to the outcome. The Chargers are expected to be without edge rushers Melvin Ingram and Uchenna Nwosu, as well as their top cornerback Casey Hayward. In addition to this, the Chargers have allowed running back Austin Ekeler to resume practicing the week. That means that he is now eligible to be activated onto the roster within the next 21 days. It is unlikely that Ekeler will suit up for Week 12, but if he does manage to play this week he shouldn’t be expected to have a full snap count given the severity of his injury suffered in Week 4.

Given the recent injury reports for this Sunday, the Week 12 keys to victory suddenly become much easier without Ingram, Nwosu, or Hayward. My final score prediction this week is for the Bills to beat the Chargers 34-24.

Next. Which Chargers should the Bills be concerned about most?. dark

The Chargers have a very effective offense this season and they will certainly put up their fair share of points. However, these three defensive injuries are significant and should make it much easier for Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense to move the ball efficiently.

Final Score: Bills win 34-24
