Justin Herbert

While it wasn’t planned for Justin Herbert to step into a starting role so soon, the early returns have been excellent. Herbert became the starter after Tyrod Taylor had his lung punctured by a team doctor prior to their Week 2 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Since that game, Herbert has thrown for over 300 yards five times in nine games and is currently averaging 299.9 passing yards per game with 22 touchdown passes and six interceptions.

The Buffalo Bills defense has done well recently against some of the better quarterbacks in the league like Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray and Patrick Mahomes. This week they will need to have a complete performance and the pass rush will be key. Herbert has been sacked at least two times in each of the last four games and the less time he has in the pocket will help this defense.
