These are four players on the Los Angeles Chargers the Buffalo Bills should be the most concerned about.
When looking at just the records, this would appear to be an easy matchup for the Buffalo Bills with them 7-3 while the Los Angeles Chargers are 3-7.
However, that is not the case as the Chargers have one of the better offenses in the NFL and each one of their seven losses have been by eight or less points. This week, if the Buffalo Bills want to come away with a win, these are four players on the Chargers they will need to focus on slowing down.
Austin Ekeler
One of the biggest question marks entering this week is whether or not running back Austin Ekeler is able to play. He has been on injured reserve due to a serious hamstring injury but has been designated to return. While this doesn’t necessarily mean he will return this week, he is certainly close if the team made that switch.
Head coach Sean McDermott said on Wednesday he is well aware of what Ekeler can do and it sounds like they are preparing as he will be out there.
This is the smart move because Ekeler is such a dynamic player out of the backfield with the way he is able to catch the ball. If he is out there Sunday, this is one player that should concern the Buffalo Bills.
