Bills score a defensive touchdown

While the Buffalo Bills became one of the top defenses over the past few seasons, although not so much this year, one thing that has been lacking is the number of defensive touchdowns.

While these are not very common, teams for the most part get one or two a season. As for the Buffalo Bills, they haven’t had a defensive touchdown since Week 16 of the 2017 season when Jordan Poyer returned an interception for a touchdown against the New England Patriots.

That season, the Bills actually had three defensive touchdowns with Tre’Davious White and Matt Milano both returning fumbles for touchdowns.

This year, the Bills came close once when Tre’Davious White almost returned an interception against the Seattle Seahawks. The reason that the Bills are going to end the streak is they have recently started to force more turnovers.

For the season, the Bills have seven interceptions and 10 fumble recoveries however nine of those have come in just the last four games. The Bills have forced at least one turnover in each of those games.

The Buffalo Bills defense should be able to end the drought before the end of the regular season.
