John Brown

The Buffalo Bills wide receiver was coming off a career year last year and the expectation was that his numbers would drop a little with the addition of Stefon Diggs. However, when he has been on the field he has actually been pretty productive.

The issue for John Brown is that he has been dealing with injuries on and off almost the entire season. This past week against the Arizona Cardinals, Brown was on the field but was dealing with a knee injury.

Then to make matters worse he suffered an ankle injury late in the game that Sean McDermott said will be evaluated over the bye.

While Diggs is the number one wide receiver, John Brown is a player that really opens this offense up. He is a deep threat that forces defenses to play off the line and creates room for those short and intermediate routes for the team’s top receiver.

This extra week should help John Brown get additional rest and hopefully enter the game against the Chargers healthy in Week 12.
