Special Teams

The special teams were a mixed bag for the Buffalo Bills. The good was certainly Tyler Bass, who is developing into a pretty good kicker after a rocky start to the year. He ended up setting three career highs in field goal attempts with made field goals from 54, 55 and 58 yards out in the second quarter.

As for Corey Bojorquez, his performance wasn’t as good with four punts for an average of 46.5 yards per punt. One of those punts was really bad as the Bills were backed up in their end of the field and Bojorquez’s punt traveled only 12 yards as he hit it off the side of his foot. That punt set up the Cardinals for a field goal that cut the Bills lead down to 23-19.

The career game by Bass helps raise this grade significantly.

Buffalo Bills Week 10 final grade

There is no question that this game was a heartbreaking one for the Buffalo Bills. As what has been a trend this season was the Bills built a big lead, 23-9, but the Cardinals chipped away and took the lead late 26-23.

The Buffalo Bills didn’t seem to panic, even as they racked up penalties and made numerous mistakes. They continued to work and on their final offensive drive, Josh Allen found Stefon Diggs for what was expected to be the game-winning score.

However, a perfect throw by Kyler Murray and a perfect catch by DeAndre Hopkins stole the win from the Bills and dropped them to 7-3.

This wasn’t the Bills best performance but considering it took a hail mary by the team now tied at the top of the NFC West to beat the Buffalo Bills, who were on the road and didn’t play their best game, speaks to just how good this team can be if they correct these few mistakes.
