Buffalo Bills defense

In the first half, the defense was all about ‘bend but not break’ as they kept the Arizona Cardinals out of the end zone and forcing them to settle for three field goals. The Cardinals moved the ball fairly easily on this defense as they had drives of 13, 10, and 16 plays with only one drive ending in a punt.

The stands they had in the red zone were key to the Buffalo Bills holding the lead in the first half. However, it was the start of the second half they set the offense up to really extend their lead as Taron Johnson forced a fumble that was recovered by Dane Jackson. The Bills scored a touchdown three plays later.

In the second half, the Bills defense looked tired and struggled to slow down Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense. The defense allowed 453 total yards and the Cardinals were much more balanced with 236 passing yards and 217 rushing yards.
