Biggest Disappointment: Tre’Davious White

There is a number of players who could be eligible for this award but the one player that has probably been the biggest disappointment has been Tre’Davious White.

Last year, the Bills cornerback made a strong case for being one of the best in the NFL at his position. He didn’t allow a single touchdown and quarterbacks had a passer rating of only 43.3. However, this year White is allowing a passer rating of 120.3 and has already been responsible for two touchdowns.

There is certainly a legitimate question about if Tre’Davious White is completely healthy and this could be a factor in his level of play. He did miss the Bills game in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans due to a back injury and was questionable in Week 6 and Week 7.

One of the big reasons for the Buffalo Bills’ success last year was that Tre’Davious White was a lockdown corner usually lining up across the opposing team’s best wide receiver. If the Bills defense wants to get back to that level of play, they are going to need Tre’Davious White to bounce back this year.
