Most Improved: Corey Bojorquez

This is another award that likely would have gone to Josh Allen but since he is not eligible the winner is actually going to be punter Corey Bojorquez.

While it is not always common for the punter to win an award like this Bojorquez has been one of those players that really took that next step this year. He has been a key part of the Bills’ success in games where the field position battle has come into play.

This season, Bojorquez has improved his average yards per punt by 7.2 yards to 49.1 average. He also has had nine of his 19 punts this year downed inside the 20-yard line improving that percentage to 47.37%, up over four percentage points from last year. He also set a career-high with a 72-yard punt.

In tighter games, when field position becomes a bigger factor in the outcome of the game the Buffalo Bills have an excellent weapon with Corey Bojorquez as their punter.
