While it would be great to see a player like J.J. Watt apart of this defense, it would be highly unlikely a trade would be able to be worked out. However, the Texans do have a number of other players that could be of interest to the Buffalo Bills.

The one player that would have made the most sense was cornerback Bradley Roby. While he has struggled a bit this season, it would have been worth the gamble for the Bills to really address that cornerback position opposite Tre’Davious White. However, he suffered a knee injury this past Sunday and the severity is unknown at this time.

Another player that would make sense for the Buffalo Bills to target would be tight end Darren Fells. While he may not be that athletic tight end like Hayden Hurst or Evan Engram, he is a reliable pass catcher that could be another weapon for Josh Allen.

He could be especially valuable on third downs where Allen could look Cole Beasley or Fells’ way to pick up that first down.
