These are the grades for each position on the Buffalo Bills from their Week 7 performance against the New York Jets.

It may not have been the performance many expected from the Buffalo Bills as they tried to right the ship against the New York Jets, who are arguably one of the worst teams in the NFL. However, it was a win none the less as the Bills relied on the foot of Tyler Bass for all their points as he connected on six field goals to help the team win 18-10.

These are the grades for the performance of each position on the Buffalo Bills in Week 7 against the New York Jets.

Quarterback

It was a bit of a mixed bag for Josh Allen as he was one of the players who really needed to come out and have a dominant performance. The Bills quarterback had been playing at an MVP level over the first four weeks but struggled recently.

It wasn’t a flawless performance but Allen looked vastly improved from what he showed the last two weeks. He would complete 70% of his passes throw for 307 yards but not have a touchdown pass or an interception. He also ran a little more this week and was effective with 61 rushing yards.

While Allen didn’t have any touchdowns, there were two plays that should have ended up as touchdowns and would have drastically changed this stat line. The first was he connected with Gabriel Davis but the play was called back due to an illegal formation penalty. The second was a pass to a wide-open Tyler Kroft but the Bills tight end lost his footing and stumbled before reaching the end zone.

The lack of touchdowns takes away from his Week 7 performance but it was much better than what he has shown the past two weeks.

Grade: B+
