Linval Joseph

The one player that makes the most sense for the Buffalo Bills would be someone like Linval Joseph currently with the Los Angeles Chargers. They are currently 1-4 and if they elect to become sellers at the deadline, Joseph would be the perfect choice for the Bills.

He is a bit older at 31 years of age but has experience as being that run clogging defensive tackle and play the same role that Star Lotulelei has in past years. They also wouldn’t be committing much in terms of the salary cap as there is a potential out after this year that would result in only $4 million in dead cap.

This is Joseph’s first year with the Chargers but prior to that was an anchor for the Minnesota Vikings defensive line and even earned two trips to the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2017.

There is no question that this defensive line for the Buffalo Bills desperately needs some size on their defensive line on the inside. A player that can set himself, command multiple blockers but remain locked in at the point of attack.

If the Buffalo Bills were to address this need through a trade any of these four players would make perfect sense.
