Quinnen Williams

This is probably the most unlikely option among the four candidates but it needs to be at least mentioned. The reason it is unlikely is that Quinnen Williams is only in his second year and trades within the division are not something that typically happens.

However, the Jets are winless and don’t appear to know exactly where they are going. If general manager Hugh Douglas elects for a complete rebuild, someone like Quinnen Williams would generate a ton of interest.

Last year during the NFL Draft, Quinnen Williams and Ed Oliver were considered the top two interior defensive linemen while Oliver was more of that penetrating type tackle and Williams had more strength and could hold up at the point of attack.

If the Jets decide to make Quinnen Williams available before the deadline, it would make perfect sense for Brandon Beane to find out exactly what the asking price is because this would be much easier to fit under the salary cap.
