These are four players that may not be getting much attention but could have big games for the Buffalo Bills in Week 6.
The Buffalo Bills are entering this game after a disappointing performance against the Tennessee Titans. They now face their toughest challenge all season against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
This is a very talented football team, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who also is coming off a disappointing loss and will be very focused to not lose two in a row. The Buffalo Bills will need to have their stars like Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Tre’Davious White playing at their peak. However, these four players are a bit under-the-radar that could have huge impacts on the outcome of this game.
Ed Oliver
The Buffalo Bills first round pick last year is a well-known name but for the most part, has had a quiet start to the season. If there was ever a game to have him break out, this would be a perfect time.
Through five games, Ed Oliver has nine total tackles, two tackles for a loss, one sack, and only five QB hits. The Bills had hoped they would be getting more production from a player they used a Top 10 pick on.
One of the best ways to get Patrick Mahomes off his game, is to put pressure on him. This was expected to be something that Ed Oliver was going to bring to this defense on a regular basis. If Oliver can take advantage of a Chiefs’ offensive line that has been hit hard by injury, it would be a big boost to a defense that has struggled to start the year.
