Cam Lewis

Last week, Cam Lewis unexpectedly got his first start in the NFL when he was inserted into the starting lineup with Tre’Davious White inactive due to a back injury. While the Bills pass defense struggled, Lewis actually had a decent game.

According to Pro Football Reference, Lewis finished with seven total tackles and allowed only two receptions for 19 yards.

While Tre’Davious White is expected to be back, the coaching staff may try to find ways to get Cam Lewis on the field in this game. He potentially could replace Josh Norman on the outside, who really struggled against the Titans.

Another potential option is to use Cam Lewis as the team’s nickel in place of Taron Johnson. The Bills starting nickel is off to a really rough start and after what Lewis showed it would make sense to give him a chance on the inside as well.

In a game that is expected to be a shootout, if Lewis is active he should see plenty of snaps in this game.
