2. Aaron Rodgers (QB, Green Bay Packers)

Last Week: 3

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were on a bye this week but he was still able to move up the rankings. The reason is the gap between Allen, Rodgers and Russell Wilson was very small entering this week. The slight step backwards by Allen is enough to move Rodgers ahead of him for at least this week.

One of the things that Rodgers has done so well this year is to protect the football as he is the only quarterback in this group to not only not throw an interception but also doesn’t have a fumble this year. He also has dealt with a revolving door at wide receiver due to injuries and has been without Davante Adams and Allen Lazard due to injuries.

The return of Adams should only help Aaron Rodgers remain at the top of the discussion for MVP.
