Buffalo Bills: Grades for every position in Week 5 against Titans
Defensive Line
The Buffalo Bills for the most part did a good job keeping Derrick Henry in check as he had 19 carries for 57 yards and averaged only three yards per carry. This is excellent going up a bruising type running back like Henry that has been known to just wear down opposing defenses.
The biggest concern and this is starting to become a trend, is that their pass rush was almost nowhere to be found. Ryan Tannehill seemingly had all day in the pocket and when it did eventually collapse, he was able to get outside and pick up big yards with his legs with the edge not being sent.
The Bills finished this game with no sacks and only two QB hits, one by Quinton Jefferson and one by Mario Addison.
The Buffalo Bills brought in a number of players to provide depth at the position like the previously mentioned Jefferson and Addison, along with Vernon Butler and A.J. Epenesa. While the secondary continues to struggle, the defensive line can be a big help by getting pressure on the opposing quarterback.
